Some words about poetry

I write for the same reason I have a digital camera--to preserve moments in my life. I can look back on them later and see not only what I saw then, but how I felt about it.
Poetry, like pictures captures a moment of time and passes it on to someone else who may experience what I have seen, These poems are of a record of my inner life. They express all the parts of me that make up me--my happiness, my sorrows, my, doubt, and my faith. I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed putting them on paper
